Lobster Hunt in South Florida – A Thrilling Underwater Adventure

Are you ready for an unforgettable underwater experience? Join us for a Lobster Hunt in the stunning waters of South Florida! This exciting 2-hour beach outing or an adventurous 4-hour boat excursion departs from one of the many beach access points in the Fort Lauderdale, Dania Beach and Pompano Beach areas, and is designed for certified Open Water divers looking to add a thrilling twist to their dive experience while enjoying the beautiful marine life Florida has to offer.

This unique experience allows you to immerse yourself in South Florida's aquatic ecosystem while enjoying the sport of lobstering. Not only will you get the thrill of the hunt, but you'll also contribute to sustainable seafood practices by following local catch regulations.

Price is Per Diver.

Upgrade your adventure by diving from a boat instead of the beach for an additional charge per diver.

Time & Location: Florida Lobster Season - August 6th, 2026 - March 31st, 2027

• SEVEN DAYS A WEEK at 9AM & 1PM
• MEET TIME: 30 minutes prior to your dive time. 8:30AM or 12:30PM 
• MEET LOCATION: Aquaman Diving in Dania Beach
• DIVE LOCATION: One of the many beach access points TBD on day of dive.
• Approximate Duration: 2 Hour (beach/shore) or 4 Hour (boat trip)

What’s Included:

• Lobster Gear - Tickle Stick/Snare, Gloves, Landing Net, Sizing Gauge, etc.
• Cooler: Safely store your catch while you're on the hunt.
• Rental Gear: High-quality dive gear available if you don’t have your own.
• Want to dive from a boat? Turn your beach dive into a boat dive for an additional $100 per diver

The Experience:

Embark on an adventure beneath the waves, exploring South Florida’s vibrant coral reefs in search of Florida spiny lobsters. Whether you're diving at night or during the day, this guided tour ensures you'll be in prime hunting spots with experts who know the area. Please arrive 30 minutes before your dive time, this ensures we are able to outfit you with proper gear and get to one of our favorite locations in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Open Water Certification Required: Participants must already be Open Water Certified divers.
• * You should have your own Florida Fishing License with Lobster Stamp, this ensures that you meet all Florida regulations after leaving us with your catch and allows you to go back out and catch on your own.
• Our license will cover you when you are out with us during the hunt only.
