Spiegel Grove in Key Largo – Advanced 2 Tank Boat Dive.

The USS Spiegel Grove is a retired U.S. Navy landing ship dock that was intentionally sunk off Key Largo, Florida, in 2002 to create an artificial reef. It was decommissioned in 1989 and then towed to the Florida Keys. The Spiegel Grove is one of the largest artificial reefs in the world, attracting a diverse range of marine life and providing a popular diving and fishing destination. The main deck of the Spiegel is at about 100ft. There is lots to see above 100 ft including wreck penetration opportunities.

What To Expect:

• DIVE LOCATION: Spiegel Grove in Key Largo
• EVENT: 2 Tank Boat Dive (includes tank(s) + weights)
• DIVE TYPE:  Anchor Dive
• AVERAGE DEPTH: 60-130 feet.
• TIME: Meet at 7:30AM. 
• MEET LOCATION: GET DIRECTIONS
• DURATION: Boat Trips typically last 6 hours
• SKILL LEVEL: Advanced Open Water Diver or Equivalent Experience
